How do we apply the analysis of physiological signals in Clinical Applications?
Brainsigns, within its portfolio of services, offers also the possibility of assessing the impact that some drugs - as well as specific medical devices (e.g. the cochlear implants) - have on the Central Nervous System.
This is possible by evaluating the changes that occur in the cortical connectivity between different areas of the brain: in order to analyze the brain’s signals in response to the use of drugs and/or medical devices, Brainsigns’ methodologies are based on the measurement of the brain activity and of the cortical connectivity with the estimator ‘Partial Directed Coherence’.
