Ing. Antonello Di Florio is an Electronic Engineer with over 10 years of experience specializing in biosignal processing algorithms and full-stack development. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer in Brainsigns srl he has progressed from software developer to technical project manager while maintaining deep expertise in biomedical signal processing.

Ing. Di Florio holds a master’s degree in electronic engineering cum laude from La Sapienza University of Rome and has built a distinguished career focused on biosignal processing algorithms for EEG, GSR, ECG, and EMG systems. His technical evolution encompasses specialized biomedical signal processing and modern full-stack development, with proficiency in Python and JavaScript technologies, particularly Next.js for web applications and Electron and KivyMD for cross-platform native applications. This comprehensive skill set enables him to develop sophisticated biomedical solutions deployed across multiple platforms.

Throughout his career, Ing. Di Florio has been actively involved in numerous European projects, SIMUSAFE - EU H2020, WorkingAge – EU H2020 and Mindtooth H2020-EIC-FTI among the others. His role has evolved from technical contributor developing innovative biosignal processing algorithms to technical project manager, successfully coordinating multi-partner consortiums across European institutions and companies.

As Lead Software Engineer, he combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic project leadership. He has managed cross-functional teams and delivered complex technical deliverables in the biomedical technology sector, effectively bridging technical development and project management responsibilities.

Ing. Di Florio 's technical expertise spans biosignal processing algorithms, full-stack development with Python, JavaScript, Next.js, and Electron, electronic systems design, and biomedical data analytics. His project management capabilities include Agile methodologies, multi-cultural team coordination, and stakeholder management.
