At Future Education Modena – Learning More Festival 2026, Prof. Fabio Babiloni delivered a talk titled: “Inside the Learning Mind: Learning, Emotions and Cognitive effort in Real Time”.
The presentation explored the evolution of the human brain and the fundamental role of cognitive effort and emotions in learning processes, demonstrating how these mental processes can now be observed and measured in real time. The audience engaged with great interest, actively contributing questions and comments.
With the support of Dr. Bianca Inguscio, a cognitive psychologist specialising in the measurement of these processes, a participant wore the mindtooth device, enabling the monitoring of engagement levels during the reading of Dante’s encounter with Paolo and Francesca.
